DNA Sexing: We can perform Avian DNA sexing with just a simple drop of blood or feather.  We can also use specialized probes along with imaging to sex reptiles as well.

Diagnostics: We offer a range of disease screening options for all exotics which include both bloods and imaging.

Vaccination: Routine rabbit and ferret vaccination

Microchipping: All exotic pets can be microchipped, with rabbits, ferrets, and lizards as the most common. As part of the microchipping procedure anaesthesia is included and we register the unique code with a national registry to increase the chance of your pet coming back home to you.

Nail and Wing Clipping: We perform nail clipping as part of our health check.  Wing clipping is only performed in specific cases as it requires special consideration of pros and cons.

Exotics Desexing Surgery:  We performed and recommend routine desexing of rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, ferrets to prevent a range of diseases and conditions.  We will can also desex some reptiles on a case by case basis.

Exotics Surgery:  We perform some orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries which is evaluated on a case by case basis.  Common surgeries are lump removals, wing fracture repairs among others.

Exotics Dentistry:  Dental disease is more common than we think in exotics animals but the clinical signs are slightly different to dogs and cats.  We perform full dental check at each consults and can also perform both scale and polish as well as extractions.

Telehealth: This can be done to decrease the stress on exotics pets  traveling but advise it best to has been see your pet at least once before 

Exotics Geriatrics: We believe exotics pets should live well till the last minute of their life and also performed senior exotics consults where we will discuss and make a plan to address any pain, arthritis, nutrition, and behavioral changes.
