Puppy School

A quality puppy training and socialisation program is the foundation of a well behaved and enjoyable new dog experience.

Our Puppy School Classes are 4 weekly sessions that last approximately 1 hour each. The classes are lead by an experienced trainer who focuses on positive reinforcement and socialisation

Puppy Preschool is a safe way to socialise your puppy, and start them off on the basics of training. They will learn good manners, which includes basic obedience commands such as ‘Come’, ‘Sit’, ‘Drop’, ‘Wait’, ‘Stay’ and ‘Heel’.

  • Recognise the needs of cats by making visits to the vet clinic more cat-friendly.

  • Understand how to approach and handle cats gently and with care.

  • Have good knowledge and equipment to manage the care of cats.

The course will also cover:

  • How dogs learn

  • Socialization

  • Calming & settling
  • Bite Inhibition/Mouthing
  • Jumping up
  • House & family pets
  • Toilet training
  • Separation Tolerance
  • Basic health care
  • Car safety

Requirements

Puppies less than 16 weeks old

At least one vaccination done before starting the class
